CANCELLATION POLICY

Any registration cancellation request must be submitted by email to info@accq.qc.ca or by telephone at 418-877-1500, extension 0.

  • 7 business days or more before the event: Full refund.
  • Between 6 business days and 24 hours before the event: Refund of the registration fee less a 25% administrative fee.
  • 24 hours or less before the event: No refund.

Substitutions are permitted. In such cases, you must notify the Association by email or telephone at least 48 hours before the start of the training activity, providing the name and email address of the ACCQ member who will be replacing you. We will then be able to send them all relevant information regarding the activity.

We reserve the right to cancel the training session if an insufficient number of registrations is received. Registered participants will be reimbursed, where applicable.

OVERVIEW

This training is designed to provide participants with the tools to better understand, assess, and manage their workload in all its forms. By exploring the objective, subjective, cognitive, mental, and emotional dimensions of workload, participants will learn to recognize the signs of overload and adopt concrete strategies to restore a sustainable balance.

Through guided reflection, practical exercises, and group discussions, this training encourages both personal and professional self-awareness. It is intended for anyone who wishes to improve their well-being at work and strengthen their ability to effectively manage workplace demands.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Upon completion of this training, participants will be able to:

  1. Understand the different dimensions of workload.
  2. Identify the factors that influence the perception of workload.
  3. Develop strategies to better manage cognitive, mental, and emotional workload.

TRAINING CONTENT

  1. Workload
  • Differences between objective and subjective workload
  • Personal and contextual factors influencing the perception of workload
  • Perceptual biases and positive reframing of workload

 

  1. Mental workload
  • Cognitive mental workload: prioritization, task breakdown, and task focus
  • Emotional mental workload: emotional awareness and emotion regulation
